Public service should never be about deepening division. People deserve leaders who can listen carefully, work respectfully with others, and stay focused on doing the job well. I have spent many years in public service, and I believe strongly that partisanship should not get in the way of fairness, accountability, and the basic responsibility to serve the public.
That matters especially in a role like Clark County Auditor. This office is about trust, accuracy, transparency, and making sure important public systems work the way they should. Elections, records, licensing, and financial oversight are not partisan functions. They are public responsibilities, and they should be handled with professionalism, steadiness, and a commitment to serving everyone in the community.
