Protecting Trust in Our Elections

Protecting Trust in Our Elections

Accuracy, Accessibility, and Transparency in Every Ballot

Public trust in elections is a foundation of a healthy community. As Auditor, my focus will be on strengthening the systems that ensure every eligible voter can participate and that every ballot is counted accurately. Clark County already has a strong team of professionals committed to fair elections, and I respect the work that has been done to build that trust. My role will be to support and strengthen that foundation with careful oversight, clear communication, and steady leadership.

Throughout my career, I have worked on complex systems that require accuracy and public confidence. I understand how important it is to get these processes right and to respond quickly when challenges arise. I will prioritize transparency, voter outreach, and clear reporting so that people understand how our elections work. Elections are not a partisan issue, they belong to all of us, and I am committed to protecting their integrity with the care and attention they deserve.

We have also seen that even strong systems can be tested. When that happens, the response must be calm, thoughtful, and focused on protecting the process. That includes working closely with staff, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure ballot security and voter confidence are maintained. Preparation and coordination matter, and I will make sure those relationships remain strong.

My approach is grounded in consistency and clarity. Voters should know what to expect, how their ballot is handled, and how results are reported. When people understand the process, they are more likely to trust it. That trust is earned over time, and it is something I will work every day to maintain.
